Dayton may not be as popular as other cities in the United States, but don´t let that fool you, Dayton is a smaller but beautiful upcoming tourist destination that is worth a visit. You will be surprised by some of the unique things to do and places you can explore at this hidden destination.
You can definitely plan a few hours of a side trip here while traveling to Columbus City or Cincinnati. You might wish to revisit it someday again to take a break and relax at Dayton.

The Wright Cycle Company Complex:
The Wright Cycle Company complex served as a place for the bicycle business of the Wright brothers. Today, it is a national historical landmark.
Island Metropark:
The five rivers Metropark is located at a strategic location where the Stillwater River, juts out into the Great Miami. The Island MetroPark is blessed with an abundance of trees, an array of recreational activities, and a rich cultural heritage.
Dayton Scream Work:
The seasonal site is open till midnight and things get creepier as the hour pass by.
National Museum of the U.S. Force:
Take a trip to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and you´ll find the official museum of the United States Air force, filled with the most Air Force memorabilia in the country
Boonshoft Museum of Discovery:
If you're traveling with little ones, don't miss this awesome children´s museum in Dayton
Dayton Art Institute:
If you have an eye for art the Dayton Art Institute is conveniently located downtown and easily identifiable by its classic Renaissance architecture.
Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park:
